Polite Society, the must-see British action movie, has landed a new free UK streaming home if you're in need of something to see tonight. Starring The Umbrella Academy's Ritu Arya, the film blends martial arts with comedy and has been compared to Kill Bill.

Written and directed by Nida Manzoor, the film also stars Bridgerton's Priya Kansara, Nimra Bucha, and Red, White & Royal Blue's Akshay Khanna.

Polite Society follows Ria Khan (Kansara), a martial artist in training who believes she must save her older sister Lena (Arya) from her upcoming marriage to Salim (Khanna), a successful geneticist.

The film currently holds a very impressive 91% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics praising both the writing and performances.

If you fancy giving it a watch (or a rewatch), Polite Society is now available to watch for free on Channel 4's streaming service, following its airing last night on Film4. It'll be available to watch for the next 29 days, so don't miss out.

Speaking ahead of Polite Society's release Ritu Arya spoke exclusively to Digital Spy about what she hoped audiences would take away from the film.

"Do whatever you're passionate about, regardless of what people say. They don't know what's right for you. No one does," the actor said.

"So you may as well do what you enjoy. You're going to spend a lot of time doing it – even if that's not what everyone is doing around you."

Polite Society is available to watch on Channel 4's streaming service.
