The Salt Path, a feel-good British drama that became a big source of controversy over the summer, has landed on a new streaming home in the UK. Previously available to buy or rent, it can now be streamed with a Prime Video subscription.
If you weren't already aware, there's a video-only plan at £5.99 a month, or the full Prime subscription with free delivery and more is £8.99 a month or £95 for a year.
Starring The White Lotus season 3's Jason Isaacs and Trespasses' Gillian Anderson, The Salt Path follows a couple who hit financial ruin and health problems, who decide to walk the South West Coast Path while they figure out what to do.
The film was heavily marketed as being 'based on the true story of Raynor Winn', who wrote the best-selling novel of the same name.
And that's where the controversy arose, as Winn has been accused of fabricating the events following the release of the film.

A piece published in The Observer in July claimed that Winn lied about being homeless and the events that lead to their home getting repossessed, as well as her husband Moth's diagnosis.
Winn denied all of the allegations against her, calling them "highly misleading" and said she was taking legal advice.
The controversy has been big enough that there is a documentary airing tonight on Sky Documentaries at 9pm, titled The Salt Path Scandal.
With the film now available as part of a streaming service, you could easily do a double-bill with the documentary.

While the film has been marred by everything surrounding it, it did bring Isaacs and Anderson together, and they've already got their next collaboration in the bag.
Production recently took place on coming-of-age drama The Julia Set, which follows a talented mathematician in the competitive world of academia.
The Salt Path can be streamed via Prime Video.
