Tributes have poured in for Hollywood legend Rob Reiner, the director of When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride, A Few Good Men, Stand By Me, Misery, and This Is Spinal Tap and its recent sequel.

As an actor, he was also one of the main cast members of '70s sitcom All in the Family, and had later roles in New Girl, Hollywood, and The Bear.

Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were found dead in their Brentwood home in the early hours of Sunday morning, with the Los Angeles Police Department confirming that they were both stabbed to death. An investigation is currently ongoing (via ABC News).

Following the announcement of their deaths, actors, producers and fellow directors have taken to social media to mourn and share their memories.

"Horrified to hear of the passing of Rob Reiner and his wonderful wife Michelle," Elijah Wood, who starred in Reiner's 1994 film North, wrote. "So much love to their kids and family."
