Jennifer Lawrence has recalled her "totally humiliating" experience with co-star Robert Pattinson, after getting to work on their new film, Die, My Love. Appearing on The Graham Norton Show this week, the actor recalled what happened.

"Lynne Ramsay, the director, challenged us during rehearsals. Robert Pattinson and I had to do interpretative dance lessons together. We both embarrass quite easily, and we didn't really know each other, so it was totally humiliating," Lawrence began.

"Then on the first day of filming, she asked whether we remembered what we did and asked if we would do it naked."

The admission appeared to shock her fellow guest,s Bruce Springsteen, Jeremy Allen White and Tessa Thompson. Lawrence then quipped: "Should I have said no? You all seem quite shocked".

During the shoot for Die, My Love, Lawrence and Pattinson formed a sweet bond, with the Hunger Games star recalling the time he crashed a girls' night at her home.

In another hilarious anecdote, Lawrence said, "I had my girlfriends over. We were in our pyjamas. We were watching Little Women. It was December. He was like, 'Hey, I just wrapped something like a block away from you', and I was like, 'Oh my God!' 'Cause Rob is one of the girls. He wants to gossip. He just is one of the gals. So I was like, 'Come over!'"

Joking that Pattinson is more like her "daughter", Lawrence said: "He's a great father, he's a professional, he shows up on time, but I wouldn't trust that he, like, put a coat on. He brings out a very maternal [side in me]."

Noting that she asked if he was hungry, Lawrence continued: "He goes to the bathroom, and I do have food, but it's in the trash. And so while he was in the bathroom, I was just, like, pulling food out of my garbage can."

"He eats it and we're all just kinda watching him eat this trash," she said. "And then when he was finished, he was like, 'I'm still hungry — is there more?'"

"And I was like, 'Well, there is, but it's in the garbage,'" Lawrence said. "He was like, 'Oh, I don't mind,' And he just pulled it out of the trash and just kept eating it."

Die, My Love is slated to land in UK cinemas on 14 November 2025.
