Netflix is removing some notable films from its hefty library in the UK and Ireland in October, including a few possible Halloween movie night choices, multiple entries in a major adventure franchise, and some big award winners. Here's what you don't want to miss.

Straight away, Harry Styles and Florence Pugh's divisive dystopian thriller Don't Worry Darling is being removed on 1 October, while Peter Jackson's epic interpretation of King Kong and Fast X, the latest instalment in Vin Diesel's ridiculous car franchise, are leaving on 2 October and 3 October, respectively.

'90s cornerstone teen comedy Clueless is leaving on 4 October, while you've got until the 6 October to watch both Sex and the City movies, if you want to go back to reminisce on the pre-And Just Like That... days.

Jumping ahead two weeks, Netflix is removing Van Helsing on 20 October. The 2004 monster mash-up sees Hugh Jackman as a leather jacket-wearing anti-hero who fights against Mr Hyde, werewolves, Dracula, his brides, and an army of vampires.

A day later, Steven Spielberg's Best Picture Oscar-winner Schindler's List is being removed, as is horror flick Insidious: The Red Door.

Of course, Netflix is always adding movies to its library as well, with Quentin Tarantino's iconic Kill Bill duology once again available to stream as part of your subscription.
