You don't have long to watch Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren's London-set thriller, as The Good Liar is leaving Netflix next month.
Based on Nicholas Searle's novel of the same name, the movie follows Roy Courtnay, a seasoned con artist (played by McKellen) who targets a wealthy widow named Betty McLeish (played by Mirren) on an online dating site.
Roy charms Betty into opening a joint offshore account with him in order to steal her savings. But when a trip to Berlin brings his identity into question, the scammer must think on his feet to keep up the ruse.
The 2019 movie also stars Game of Thrones' Nell Williams and Lucian Msamati, Ted Lasso's Phil Dunster, Being Human's Russell Tovey and Downton Abbey's Jim Carter.
The Good Liar is currently available on Netflix in the UK but will be leaving the streaming service on 10 October - meaning you have just 20 days to watch it.

Despite the mixed reception, critics praised Mirren and McKellen's "consistently impressive" on-screen dynamic.

"The fun of The Good Liar is that, just when you think you've got a proper handle on what's going on, your reality is completely shattered," wrote New York Post.
"The pleasure of The Good Liar, and it's a major one, is the chance to watch Mirren and McKellen act together in a cat-and-mouse duet that turns into an elegant waltz of affection and deception," echoed Variety.
"Through it all, however, Mirren and McKellen never waver. Smooth at being smooth, their conviction always convinces us, and their ability to register multiple subtle changes of emotion is consistently impressive," added Los Angeles Times.
The Good Liar is available to stream on Netflix until 10 October.
