The trailer for Josh O'Connor's upcoming movie The Mastermind has been released.
The latest project from Kelly Reichardt features the God's Own Country and The Crown actor as an incredibly shy and mild-mannered carpenter who finds himself out of work with nothing to fill his days with.
But he soon embarks on a life of crime, planning an elaborate heist to steal an expensive piece of art.
He ropes in his friends to work on his plans in the basement, and when the authorities come calling, he disarms them with his sheer meekness. But can he actually get away with it?
Alongside O'Connor, the film stars Alana Haim (from the band HAIM), John Magaro, Hope Davis, Bill Camp, Gaby Hoffmann, and Amanda Plummer.

Ahead of its release in cinemas in October, the film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where critics got to see it and give their opinions.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a very strong 89% positive score from 35 reviews.
"The Mastermind may be a heist movie about a novice thief with a dumb plan. But Reichardt pulls it off like clockwork: This film is stupendously smart," wrote RogerEbert.com.

IGN stated: "With a career-best performance by Josh O'Connor, it’s a sharply incisive and often darkly funny gem that bolsters Reichardt’s reputation as one of our finest living filmmakers."
"In The Mastermind, the dreary details of post-heist calamity are as pertinent as the main event. It is this that attracts Reichardt’s observing eye and makes The Mastermind so quietly gripping," reads The Guardian's review.
The Mastermind will be released in 17 October in US cinemas, and 24 October in UK cinemas.
