Pedro Pascal is being praised by fans for his support of the trans community at last night's Thunderbolts* premiere.

The Last of Us star, who will make his Marvel debut as Reed Richards in Fantastic Four: First Steps this summer, attended the London premiere of Marvel's Thunderbolts* movie wearing a 'Protect the Dolls' T-shirt.

The T-shirt, which was designed by Conner Ives, shows support to trans women, who are affectionately referred to as 'dolls' in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Proceeds from the sale of the T-shirt are donated to Trans Lifeline, an organisation that offers emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis.

A clip of Pascal on the carpet was shared to Marvel Studios' official Instagram page, sparking praise from fans who celebrated the powerful statement – made in London just a week after the UK Supreme Court ruled that a woman is defined by biological sex, meaning trans women can be excluded from single-sex spaces if it's deemed 'proportionate'.

"Pedro wearing that shirt after that awful law passed in the UK makes me know I chose the right celebrity to be a fan of," commented one fan.

"Not only is Pedro Pascal an icon for wearing this T-shirt, but he's wearing it in London less than a week after the UK Supreme Court's catastrophically stupid gender ruling," wrote another, adding: "He's a hero."

Lux opened up about her journey in Spanish magazine Ya, explaining: "My transition has been something that's very natural for everyone in my family," she said at the time. "It's almost something that they expected to happen."

She also revealed how her brother played a crucial role in her transition, adding: "He's also an artist and has served as a guide for me. He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity."
