Stephen Graham is back on the big screen in the excellent dark thriller The Good Boy, but if you just can't get enough of one of Britain's best actors, then we've got just the movie for you to watch at home this weekend.
Back in 2021, Graham made us all feel hungry and very stressed with the excellent one-take British drama Boiling Point which was directed by Philip Barantini who also directed all four episodes of Netflix hit Adolescence.
Filmed in one continuous take and expanded from the short of the same name, the movie sees Graham play head chef Andy Jones, who endures the shift from hell at his upmarket restaurant Jones & Sons. We've called it a drama, but honestly, it's more nailbiting than most thrillers.

Boiling Point still holds a near-perfect 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, marking the highest-rated movie of Stephen Graham's career to date. (2021's Help, with Jodie Comer, holds a 100% rating, but that was a feature-length TV drama.)
"It is a terrific ride driven by Graham's honest, urgent, vulnerable performance," praised The Spectator, with iNews adding: "This film following one burnt-out chef's shift in a high-end restaurant makes for a tense, riveting drama."
What to Read Next
If you haven't seen the movie yet or fancy a rewatch, Boiling Point is now available to watch right now for free on Channel 4's streaming service, following its airing last night on Film4. It's available to watch on the streamer for the next 29 days.
You can also rent or buy Boiling Point from Prime Video, iTunes and other digital retailers if you don't want to watch with adverts.
If the name sounds familiar, that's because the movie was followed by a four-part BBC show which, confusingly, was also called Boiling Point.

The show brought back Graham's Andy Jones, but turned the focus instead to his sous-chef Carla (Vinette Robinson) as she tries to run her new restaurant, only to encounter as much stress as Andy did. Ray Panthaki, Izuka Hoyle and Hannah Traylen were among the other cast members to reprise their role for the sequel show.
You can watch all four episodes of Boiling Point, and the short film that inspired the movie, on BBC iPlayer right now.
