A first look at Heartstopper star Yasmin Finney's new British thriller Lifehack has been unveiled.

The upcoming film follows four teenage slackers who attempt a multi-million-dollar Bitcoin heist from their bedrooms, only to spiral into the darkest corners of the internet — and a danger beyond their computer screens.

A first-look photo from Lifehack has now been released by South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW), where the film will premiere in March.

Other cast members include Outlander's Jessica Reynolds and Silent Witness actor Charlie Creed-Miles.

While a fourth season is yet to be confirmed by Netflix, Heartstopper creator Alice Oseman previously told Tudum that there's more story to tell.

"Obviously there is more story in the books that we have yet to cover, and we would love to tell the end of the story in TV form," they said.

Finney also made her Doctor Who debut in the sci-fi's show's 60th anniversary specials, playing the daughter of Catherine Tate's Donna Temple-Noble.

After the episodes aired, Doctor Who showrunner and executive producer Russel T Davies confirmed that viewers will see Finney's Rose again in the future.

"She’s absolutely terrific, and she has more appearances to come, simply because I adore working with her," he said in December 2023.

Lifehack premieres at SXSW in March.
