Mary Elizabeth Winstead and former 24 actress Agnes Bruckner have signed up for A&E's remake of French drama series The Returned.
The English-language version of Les Revenants centres on a small mountain town where the long-dead begin to re-appear to their family and friends.
Winstead (Scott Pilgrim Vs The World) has been cast as Rowan, who finds herself stunned when her late musician boyfriend Simon (Mat Vairo) shows up on her doorstep.
Bruckner is playing the town's deputy sheriff and House of Cards actress Sandrine Holt is portraying an emotionally fragile doctor, reports Deadline.
The trio of actresses will star with the previously-announced Jeremy Sisto, India Ennenga, Mark Pellegrino and Kevin Alejandro in the series.
Lost's Carlton Cuse is developing this 10 episode adaptation of Les Revenants.
