Since those final four words said by Rory on Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, we've wondered who could be the father of Rory's (Alexis Bledel) child?

In the Netflix revival's finale, Rory revealed to her mum Lorelai (Lauren Graham) that she was pregnant.

Well, Netflix has teased us who he could possibly be: Logan or Paul.

An image was posted on Netflix's Twitter account of a science fair project called "Finding My Father", with photos of Logan and Paul.

The caption reads: "Where's an eighth grade science fair when you need one? #GilmoreGirls".

It always has been a discussion of Jess vs Dean vs Logan when it comes to Rory's love life, but Paul seems like a possible contender for being the father of her child.

Paul (played by Jack Carpenter) only appeared briefly in the first episode during the "Winter" episode, but Rory and he dated for two years.

Even with the tease from Netflix, we may never know who is the father because what seems more unlikely is a follow-up to a Gilmore Girls revival.

Earlier this month, Netflix's chief content officer Ted Sarandos said they are "open" for more Gilmore Girls if only show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is on board.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life was a huge success for Netflix, with the four episodes reportedly attracting at least five million viewers.

Although the show did not beat ratings for Fuller House or Orange is the New Black, it did manage to top Marvel shows Daredevil and Luke Cage.
