Jessica Jones's super-pal Luke Cage might not have launched his hip-hop-infused series on to Netflix yet, but we already know that one of his crowd will be enlisted into The Defenders.

Speaking to The Wrap, Simone said: "I believe I'm safe to say that I will be on The Defenders.
"Spoiler alert! If I lose my job because of this interview, sorry! I was supposed to be on The Defenders, until I got fired."
Whoa, whoa, whoa, Simone. Firstly you're supposed to say 'spoiler alert' before you say the spoiler. Secondly, if you do lose your job… soz.
In the comic books, Misty Knight nabs herself a robotic arm courtesy of goateed wonder Tony Stark and opens her own detective agency.
The Luke Cage character (played by Mike Colter) made his debut in the first season of Jessica Jones on Netflix.
He's set to join forces with Misty, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and new Marvel TV hero Iron Fist in The Defenders in 2017. Meanwhile, the full series of Luke Cage will hit Netflix on September 30.
Talking about the Cage comic's blaxploitation origins, showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker recently said: "For me, it was important that we not look at the '70s iteration with disdain. We didn't want it to be like Austin Powers.
"We're not ashamed of our blaxploitation past. We relish in it. But we took the parts that still apply to modern times."
