The Leftovers is bringing back long-time favourites Justin Theroux, Christopher Eccleston and Liv Tyler for its third and final season.

As production nears for Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta's supernatural drama, TVLine reports that several key season one and two regulars will be back.

Joining Theroux, Eccleston and Tyler from season one will be Scott GlennAmy Brenneman, Carrie Coon, Chris Zylka, Margaret Qualley and Janel Moloney.

Also coming back are Regina King, Kevin Carroll, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Jovan Adepo – all members of season two's Murphy family.

However, Ann Dowd is not expected to return as the Guilty Remnant's manipulative leader Patti Levin.

It was recently announced that The Leftovers will shift its setting to Australia for its final run, much it like it moved from New York to Texas in season two.

No air date for the final season of The Leftovers has been set by HBO yet.
