The Leftovers is no stranger to changing its central location, and for the show's third and final season, the series will be jumping ship once more.
HBO's post-apocalyptic series will be heading over to the Australian outback for its last hurrah, which isn't exactly breaking news.

But maybe you didn't know the final strait will be in the style of desert-storming movie Mad Max, which sounds rather intriguing indeed.
"Australia is the end of the world geographically, and our show is about the end of the world emotionally," showrunner Damon Lindelof told EW.
"There's also something about Australian cinema - it's primal, ancient and spiritual - that felt like it fit The Leftovers.
"Whether it's Mad Max movies or Walkabout, or Waking Fright or Peter Weir movies."
In the final season, viewers will see Kevin (Justin Theroux) struggle to control his wayward father (Scott Glenn), who may or may not be hearing messages from God.
And, not done comparing the series to iconic movies, Lindelof also likened Kevin's upcoming story arc with his father to (ahem) Michael and Don Vito Corleone in The Godfather.
"It's like The Godfather," Lindelof added.
"Marlon Brando keeps telling his son Michael, 'I don't want this business for you', but every time the shit hits the fan, Michael is in the room.
"So Senior is mixed up in something and pulls Kevin into it."
Lindelof hasn't yet revealed if season three will finally solve the ongoing mystery of the Sudden Departure of 40 million people worldwide.
But fans can take comfort in knowing that he is working on a hard-hitting final scene.
The Leftovers will return to HBO in April 2017.
