The Leftovers' Liv Tyler has confirmed that she will be reprising her role as Meg Abbott in the third and final season of the HBO show.
But the star also hinted that its creator Damon Lindelof has kept the intrigued cast very much in the dark as they prepare to film the final instalment of the cult series.
"Damon is secretive - he surprises us as much as the audience," the 38-year-old star told Digital Spy at the 2016 Elle Style Awards last night.
The actress - who is expecting her second child with British partner Dave Gardner - won Best TV Actress, and also touched on that bonkers and extraordinary twist in season 2 in the video above.
Season two of The Leftovers shifted its setting from Mapleton, New York to the so-called miracle town of Jarden, Texas - where people from all walks of life struggle to come to grips with a seemingly-religious rapture.
Filming for season 3 will begin later this year.
