Memory of a Killer, the new thriller featuring Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey, has added a major name to its cast.
The upcoming Fox series, based on the 2003 Belgian film The Alzheimer Case, sees Dempsey portray Angelo Ledda, a professional hitman who begins to exhibit signs of early onset Alzheimer's.
Dempsey will be joined in the cast by The Sopranos and The White Lotus star Michael Imperioli, who's set to play Dutch, an "accomplished chef" and "ruthless" criminal who happens to be one of Angelo's closest friends, according to Variety.
Dutch owns a restaurant — a "stalwart establishment" in the Bronx — that serves as a front for his criminal activities. Despite providing Angelo with targets, the "mercurial" and "affable" figure isn't necessarily "trustworthy".
Greenlit by Fox in May ahead of a 2026 release, Memory of a Killer is described as a "dramatic thriller" which follows a figure in their "dangerous double life" as they harbour an "even deadlier personal secret".

The series is the second English-language adaptation of The Alzheimer Case following Memory, a 2022 film that starred Liam Neeson in the lead role alongside Guy Pearce and Monica Bellucci.
Though Memory of a Killer won't be released for a while, Dempsey recently had a main role in the world of Dexter following his part in prequel series, Original Sin. The 10-part drama, which saw Dempsey portray Aaron Spencer, was renewed for a second season back in April.
Memory of a Killer is yet to receive a release date.
