Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has traded her blonde locks for a whimsical candyfloss hue.

The Electric State actor has made the most of her recently bleached hair and tried a new colour, opting for a pastel pink shade.

She showed off her transformation in a clip released for her cosmetics brand Florence by Mills, leaning in all things "soft girl" for the launch of a new pink hair and body mist.

Brown recently revealed Barbie star Margot Robbie would be her dream co-star.

"I would just love to work with her. She's a pro," she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

"She works alongside men but I can't keep my eyes off of her. That's huge. I'd love to work with her."

Further praising Robbie, Brown said: "When I watch her, I feel inspired, 'cause I feel like she leads her movies with drive, with this sense of feeling like a badass."

The Enola Holmes star and producer has also made headlines for revealing what her real name is. Contrary to what fans were led to think, Bobby isn't actually the star's middle name.

During an interview with BuzzFeed for Electric State, Brown shocked her co-star Chris Pratt by saying that her real middle name is Bonnie, adding that she had "never told anyone".

When Pratt asked her why she had changed her name for the stage, Brown replied: "For shits and giggles."

Brown is returning to Stranger Things in the show's fifth and final instalment, set to release on Netflix later in the year.

A release date for the hotly anticipated conclusion to the Hawkins saga hasn't been announced just yet, but it's likely it'll drop this autumn, possibly split into two parts, much like the mammoth-sized season four.

Stranger Things seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix. A fifth and final season is in production.
