Euphoria star Barbie Ferreira has responded to claims that she walked off the set of the HBO show.
The actor played Kat in the first two seasons of Euphoria but won't be back for the third and final season. Appearing on The Viall Files podcast, she denied rumours that she stormed off during production.
"I never walked off set," she said. "There was never anything like that. That was like a whole thing. I absolutely never did that. You could ask the hundreds of people that were there every day."

She further explained why she departed the show after season 2, reiterating that she and creator Sam Levinson came to an agreement after much creative discussion about Kat's purpose on the show.
Ferreira said: "It wasn't just my choice. I think after having a lot of conversation and after season two, there was just nowhere to go. Instead of me lingering around for nine months, it was best for both of us that we just kind of ended it there."

"With acting, things happen all the time, and you just have to have thick skin and just make the right decisions for you and your career. It was hard. I was really young, and it was tough, obviously," she said, adding that: "There was a lot of discourse about it that wasn't true."
She referred to a lot of the rumours about her or the show itself as "fan theories", referencing Kat's hobby from the show.
Euphoria streams on Max in the US and on Sky Go/NOW in the UK.
