Nobody Wants This spoilers follow.

The ending of Nobody Wants This has left us wanting more, so the big question is whether or not the Netflix rom-com is going to return for season two.

Noah (Adam Brody) and Joanne (Kristen Bell) sealed their relationship with a kiss in the final episode, after Joanne made the decision that she didn't quite feel sure about committing to converting to Judaism.

She was, however, very clearly in love with Noah, and he definitely reciprocated her feelings. But Noah had always dreamed of becoming head rabbi at his synagogue – and it had been made clear to him by his predecessor that he would be expected to marry within the Jewish faith. What's more, his personal relationship could stand in the way of his appointment.

For a while, it seemed as though he was going to let Joanne walk away. She revealed the uncertainty of converting shortly before walking out of the bat mitzvah, and presumably out of his life forever.

We then saw a devastated Noah receiving a wave of congratulations from the congregation, as news of his likely promotion traveled. But despite getting everything he had ever supposedly wanted, it didn't seem to mean as much with the knowledge that he would now be doing it without Joanne by his side.

Likewise, despite telling Noah not to follow her, Joanne couldn't hide her disappointment when the delay to her bus home was caused by a random party member, and not her man rushing after her.

But in true cliché rom-com style, when she got off the bus at her home stop Noah was standing there waiting for her. The grand gesture was activated, and the pair had one of their pregnancy-inducing smooches...

Then the credits rolled. The End.

Did Noah and Joanne stay together at the end of Nobody Wants This?

While we didn't see them ironing out the obstacles and challenges that they would be facing, the end of Nobody Wants This is a clear indication that the pair were going to be together regardless. Because love conquers all, didn't you know?

Noah's family never seemed happy about his new relationship, but both Noah and Joanne had already stood their ground on that front. For a while, Joanne's sister Morgan (Justine Lupe) seemed equally unhappy about their union, albeit for different reasons.

Morgan's doubts were originally driven by her fear of losing her best friend and podcast partner, particularly as much of their content was built around Joanne's previous dating disasters. But then Noah's ex Rebecca stirred the pot and fed Morgan some lies about Noah, causing a fairly large falling out between the sisters. This was all resolved by the end though, with Morgan accompanying Joanne to the bat mitvah party.

Another major question we still have – that could form part of the story in season two – is what's going to come of the weird relationship between Noah's brother Sasha and Morgan. Sasha is married to Esther, but he had been hiding a friendship with Joanne's sister Morgan for much of the show – and it all came out in the final episode.

Is there going to be a season 2 of Nobody Wants This on Netflix?

At this point in time, there's no word as to whether or not Adam Brody and Kristen Bell's rom-com is going to return for more episodes.

Show creator Erin Foster has spoken about how the series is very loosely based on her own relationship (now marriage), so presumably there could be lots more inspiration that could play into a second season should Netflix give it the green light.

The future of Nobody Wants This will likely depend on how the show performs for the streaming service. Will it crack the coveted Top 1o, or even make its way into Netflix's most-watched series of all time? Only time will tell.
