The Leftovers is reportedly undergoing a creative reboot for its second season, with many of the supporting cast not expected to return.
The HBO drama will primarily be set outside of the town of Mapleton for its 2015 run, according to Deadline.
Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Margaret Qualley and Chris Zylka - who play the Garvey family - are said to be locked in to star next season, in addition to Christopher Eccleston and Carrie Coon, who play Matt Jamison and Nora Durst respectively.
Liv Tyler (Megan Abbott) and Ann Dowd (Patti Levin) could return as well, with others possibly reprising their roles in a guest capacity.
Based on Tom Perrotta's novel of the same name, The Leftovers follows the aftermath of the Sudden Departure - an event likened to the Rapture in which 2% of the world's population vanish.
