The network recently declined to order a full 22-episode season, leading fans to fear for the show's future.
However, Cerone took to Twitter to explain that "producers are confidant" [sic] about a potential second season.
"Constantine [has] higher ratings than Hannibal and climbing," he wrote. "Hannibal got second season. So keep watching!"
He added: "NBC wants our success and DC is [a] beast. Won't say die."
