HBO has debuted a new trailer for the drama series The Leftovers.

Justin Theroux leads the cast of Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof's new show about people left behind by a supposed biblical rapture.

The newly-released teaser prominently features Christopher Eccleston as a former reverend who believes that the disappearances were not in fact divine in nature.

Liv Tyler portrays a woman who becomes the target of a cult, while Amy Brenneman has been cast as a mysterious member of that rogue religious organization.

Lindelof has adapted The Leftovers from the acclaimed novel by Tom Perrotta.

HBO premieres The Leftovers on June 29 at 10pm ET.
