Titans season 4 is just a few weeks away from releasing, and now we have a brand new trailer teasing what's ahead.
The superhero show is going full supernatural this series, as the team go to Superman's turf of Metropolis and discover that an evil cult known as the Church of Blood are up to no good.
Not only that, but Superman's arch nemesis Lex Luthor is getting involved in the cult, no doubt on the hunt for ultimate power. Normally he's more of a businessman/evil genius/science-based villain, so this is a nice little twist on that.

Beyond the bad guys up to bad guys things, Raven is getting even more disturbing visions, something's up with Beast Boy, and Superboy is seriously considering leaving the team for good.
We're sure that there will also be plenty of angst to mine since Lex is kind of Superboy's dad, alongside Superman, through some cloning shenanigans.
Speaking about this version of Lex Luthor, played by Sons of Anarchy star Titus Welliver, showrunner Greg Walker says he "has a very sensitive, thoughtful approach to evil and power".

"You know what he's done, what he's capable of doing, except like many of those people, he's personable. He doesn't have a cat on his lap.
"Yeah. He's curious, which I think is very interesting about his character. He wants to know about people and what makes them tick, and how they're different from him. He sees the world through the lens both of his own power and his own inadequacy, and tries to compensate for both."
Titans season 4 begins streaming on HBO Max from November 3 in the US. Netflix carries the show in the UK.
