Feud season 2 has signed up A Few Good Men's Demi Moore for a supporting role.
Her casting was first reported by Variety, with Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story mastermind) finally bringing his anthology series back after five years by adapting Laurence Leamer's book Capote's Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era.
Moore will reportedly play socialite Ann Woodward, an ex-showgirl and radio actress who was accused of murdering her husband back in 1955.
What to Read Next
Tom Hollander (Pirates of the Caribbean) will play the iconic author Truman Capote, while the action itself chronicles the novelist's life before and after the publication of a short story based on the lives and scandals of his high society female friends — whom he referred to as his "swans".
Diane Lane (Man of Steel), Calista Flockhart (Supergirl), Naomi Watts (The Impossible) and Chloë Sevigny (AHS) were all previously announced as cast members.
As far as the creative team goes, Feud season 2 will be directed by Gus Van Sant – the man behind Good Will Hunting and Milk. He'll call the shots across each of the eight episodes.
Moore, meanwhile, last appeared on the small screen as Linda in 2020's Brave New World.
Elsewhere on Murphy's TV slate is the Netflix drama Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, led by his old AHS pal Evan Peters, which released its first trailer just a couple of days ago.
This real-life tale is told from the perspective of Dahmer's victims and also shines a light on the Wisconsin police force's errors throughout his 13-year killing spree.
Feud will return to FX in the US at a later date.
