Despite airing nearly A YEAR AGO in the US, Feud: Bette and Joan finally made it to UK shores tonight (December 16) as the BBC aired the first two episodes.
The first season of the Ryan Murphy anthology show follows the infamous tension between Hollywood legends Bette Davis and Joan Crawford on the set of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
The movie became partly defined by the behind-the-scenes fights, so naturally the subject matter was a goldmine for some ace early-1960s recreations and some rather savage one-liners.
Those watching were hooked from the off (warning: some rather strong language awaits - like VERY strong language), viewers heaping particular praise on stars Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange for their portrayals of the two feuding stars:
