Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany has rubbished reports that she's been cast as the titular character in Marvel's She-Hulk.

Announced just last month, it was believed that the Emmy Award winner had joined the upcoming Disney+ series in the role of lawyer-turned-superhero Jennifer Walters.

Walters inherits her Hulking powers when she's given an urgent blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner.

"I don't know how these things get – I don't know, I don't know. You know better; I have no idea," the actress laughed.

Meanwhile, She-Hulk writer Dana Schwartz previously confirmed that the first load of scripts had been finished.

Posting on Twitter back in May, she explained how the writers' room for the show had closed its doors, which usually means that the scripts were on their way to the studio because the story had reached a certain point where production could begin.

With COVID-19 restrictions in mind, it's unclear where the project is up to currently.
