The first trailer for the upcoming Orphan Black spin-off series, Orphan Black: Echoes, has arrived.
Set in the near future, the 10-part series is set to explore the "scientific manipulation of human existence" through a group of women who suddenly find themselves thrust into each others' lives.
As these women embark on a thrilling journey together, they begin to unravel the mystery of their identities.

Marvel star Krysten Ritter leads the cast as Lucy, who is described as "a woman with an unimaginable origin story, trying to find her place in the world."
The twisty teaser opens with a disoriented Lucy waking up to questions from a scientist, and no memory of who she is.

"What's wrong with me?" she asks with panic in her voice. "Why don't I know who I am?"
"You've been through a procedure," the scientist replies, before the trailer cuts to Lucy escaping from what looks like a lab and setting out to find some answers.
"I have to face them," she says. "We have to figure out who we are."

Orphan Black: Echoes also stars It's a Sin's Keeley Hawes, Choose Love's Avan Jogia, Barry's James Hiroyuki Liao, Your Honor's Rya Kihlstedt and Better Call Saul's Reed Diamond and Amanda Fix.
Orphan Black creator John Fawcett, who returned to executive produce and direct the spinoff, previously teased that the show will be "very different" from the flagship series starring Tatiana Maslany.
"The spin-off is a very different show. If you go in with the expectation that you're going to see Orphan Black, you're going to probably be disappointed. It's got its own feel, it's got its own identity," he said.
"What makes it Orphan Black, there's a bit of a slow burn to it. I think it'll be exciting for fans to discover."
Orphan Black: Echoes will premiere in 2024.
