The Sinner will be back for another tale of crime and mystery following the success of its first three seasons.
USA Network has announced that the anthology crime drama will be back for a fourth season in 2021 with actor Bill Pullman set to reprise his role as Detective Harry Ambrose.
Every season of the show features Detective Ambrose as he attempts to solve a new mystery, with season one focusing on a woman who stabs a man to death, season two centring on a teenager who apparently murdered his parents in a motel room and season three featuring a tragic car accident which soon becomes something far more sinister.

There is no word yet on what awaits Ambrose in season four and no news yet on who will be joining Pullman on the cast list either – but if the previous three seasons are anything to go by, we're bound to be hooked.
Showrunner Derek Simonds will also be back, alongside fellow executive producers Jessica Biel, Michelle Purple and Charlie Gogolak.

President of USA Network Chris McCumber has promised a "compelling" new season, saying: "The Sinner has struck a chord with audiences with its signature 'whydunnit' style.
"In season four, we're excited to dig even deeper into the psyche of Bill Pullman's beloved Detective Ambrose character, while introducing our audience to a compelling, completely new mystery."
USA Network also recently announced that it has picked up two new unscripted shows – Instant Family, about a married couple who adopt three sisters who had been living on the streets, and The Rev, which focuses on a Long Island pastor who uses his musical skills to help make his church choir the best one around.
The Sinner airs on USA Network in the US and on Netflix and BBC Four in the UK.
