The 100's seventh and final season has added Smallville star Alaina Huffman to its ranks.
Creator Jason Rothenberg announced the show's imminent end with season 7 just last month, but the character pool is about to expand in some really interesting ways.
Enter Nikki, who Huffman is playing.

Via Deadline, the character's official description is as follows: "One of the newly-awakened Eligius IV convicts, Nikki is a bank robber and spree-killer who is both unpredictable and fierce.
"She will take on an unexpected leadership role, advocating for her people in the complicated new world of Sanctum."
Huffman is recognisable for her role as Dinah Lance/Black Canary in Smallville, as well as regular appearances in Supernatural, where she played Abaddon/Josie Sands. She also appeared in the Netflix horror The Perfection.
Meanwhile, Rothenberg previously explained why The 100 is coming to an end.
"We've actually been asking for this to be the last season for a while, because we feel like it's time to get out while the getting's good," he noted. "We want to leave [the fans] wanting more. We don't want to overstay our welcome. All the cliches."
We can definitely respect that, so let's hope it goes out on a high.
The 100 airs on The CW in the US and E4 in the UK.
