Smallville's Tom Welling has revealed whether he would ever reprise his role as Superman, after recently appearing in the Arrowverse crossover as a powerless Clark Kent.
Welling, who brought the Man of Steel to life as Clark Kent / Superman in Smallville, recently popped up for a brief cameo in the 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' event, but was that the last time we'll ever see him in a comic-book role?
Perhaps not.

In an interview with YouTube channel El mundo geek de Ernestoneitor, Welling admitted that it "would be cool" to put on Superman's suit one more time.
Throwing his hat into the ring for a cameo in Matt Reeves' The Batman, Welling added: "My buddy Rob Pattinson, he's going to be the new Batman. It would be fun to be the Superman that shows up in his movie, just because he's a friend of mine.
"But, you know, who knows?"

If Tom is hinting at a big-screen role in Robert Pattinson's solo Batman-verse, he's going to have to find time in his busy schedule – after all, the actor and his wife Jessica Rose Lee are expecting their second child together.
Tom and Jessica welcomed their first child, a son named Thomson Wylde, back in 2019 and married just a few months later. Lee's pregnancy was confirmed in January of this year.
