Strictly Come Dancing's La Voix has revealed a huge secret that she kept from judge Craig Revel Horwood during the show. The RuPaul's Drag Race UK star appeared on the 2025 series of the competition, alongside professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec.
Since exiting the dancefloor, La Voix has been preparing for her upcoming role as Miss Hannigan in the Annie musical as it tours across the UK and Ireland. However, as Craig has previously portrayed the tyrannical character himself, La Voix thought it best to keep quiet about landing the part.
Appearing on The One Show on Monday (19 January), the drag artist joked that she worried the judge would score her dances harshly if he was also in the running for the musical role.
"I was really nervous when I was doing Strictly when the conversations were about this," La Voix told presenter Roman Kemp. "He might have been up for the same role. And I was like, 'Don't tell him I've got it because I'll get twos on the paddles every single week.'"
"He wasn't up for it luckily," she added.

The star went on to share that Craig had actually given her some advice about playing the part, and that the pair had discussed the musical while filming Strictly last year.
"And he said to me, 'You know, you're going to love it because she's a real character. And you get to tune in and make her real. And, you know, she's quite scary. You know, running an orphanage and obviously likes a bit of gin, you know.'"

La Voix's Strictly journey was unfortunately cut short due to a foot injury, which forced her to withdraw from the competition ahead of the iconic Blackpool Week.
The star just missed out on the chance to perform at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom - a milestone event on the show.
Luckily for fans, La Voix has recently been reunited with Aljaž and a range of last year's contestants, as they took to the road for the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour. The show kicked off this Friday in Birmingham and will make its way across the the UK for the next three weeks.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
