The BBC has shut down rumours of a big change involving Strictly Come Dancing, as a spokesperson confirmed there are no plans of moving the show across the country.
Following speculation that Strictly may be leaving its home at Elstree Studios soon to relocate to Salford, the BBC denied a move is on the cards for the beloved dancing competition.
"There are no plans to move Strictly Come Dancing. Any suggestion otherwise is pure speculation," a BBC spokesperson confirmed to Digital Spy.
Meanwhile, the show is getting ready for a different kind of shakeup as longtime hosting duo, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, have been announced to leave Strictly at the end of this season.
Tess and Claudia were recently awarded their very own golden Glitterball Trophies after the show aired a montage of the presenting duo.

"Thank you so much. I can't believe that we're so lucky. It's been an honour," said Claudia, while Tess added: "You guys are like family to us, and we'll always feel like that about you. The whole team is just the best team. We've had the most amazing time."
This Saturday will mark the last full series episode presented by the co-hosts, as the remaining three couples — Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, George Clarke and Alexis Warr, and Karen Carney and Carlos Gu — dance off to win their own Glitterball.
Strictly fans will also get to see Claudia and Tess presenting their final episode on Christmas Day during the Strictly Christmas Special, which is pre-recorded.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
