The BBC has denied a rumoured change to Strictly Come Dancing's result show format, after some fans expressed concerns about leaks.
As fans of the show well know, each week, the series airs two episodes, with the live performances broadcast on Saturday evening, and the results, which are pre-recorded, revealed the next day.
Due to the results show being filmed the day before broadcast, the results of the show are sometimes leaked online before the results show airs.
While the two-day format continues to draw in viewers, the Daily Mail has reported that some BBC chiefs believe the original format – which saw the entire programme, including the live results, aired on Saturday – should be reinstated.
However, a Strictly insider told Digital Spy that rumours of a change to Strictly's airing schedule are incorrect.
"There's absolutely no truth to the suggestion that the Sunday night results show might be axed," they said.

"The results show attracts a huge audience that most shows can only dream of. In fact, it's not unusual for it to have higher viewing figures than Strictly's Saturday night live show.
"We also know that, alongside the dance off, viewers love to watch the results show for the Professional Dancers' group performances, guest music acts, and its behind-the-scenes insight and interviews with all the couples and judges.”
Following the launch of season 23 in September, some Strictly fans took to social media to voice their frustrations over finding out the results of the show online before watching it.

"@bbcstrictly @BBCOne @BBC Can you now please simply do the results on a Saturday night instead of pretending on a Sunday? Fed up with all of the leaks," tweeted one viewer.
Likewise, a second declared: "It is hard enough to avoid the Strictly spoiler without Grok putting it as a top news story on my feed. BBC seriously needs to sort out the leaks to keep people watching on Sundays."
The broadcaster will be making changes to the programme next year after hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman confirmed their exit from Strictly in October. In a joint statement on Instagram, the pair explained that it felt "like the right time" for them to "pass over the baton".
"We have loved working as a duo, and hosting Strictly has been an absolute dream. We were always going to leave together, and now feels like the right time," Daly and Winkleman confirmed.
"We will cry when we say the last 'keep dancing', but we will continue to say it to each other. Just possibly in tracksuit bottoms at home while holding some pizza."
Following the announcement, fans have been keen to learn who might replace them, with Holly Willoughby, Alan Carr, Rylan Clark, and Janette Manrara all suggested as possible contenders.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are also available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
