Strictly Come Dancing viewers have reacted to Claudia Winkleman's hilarious 'Kisscam' moment with the show's musical director, Dave Arch, hailing it the best comedy moment in the show – ever.
In a three-second clip set to go down in Strictly history, Claudia and Dave poked fun at the infamous Coldplay 'kiss cam' moment as Tess Daly introduced George Clarke and his professional partner Alexis Warr.
The couple were preparing to dance their Tango to the band's song 'Viva La Vida' when Tess told viewers that they thought it would be a good chance to get the ‘audience cam’ working, just like British band Coldplay did on their recent Music of the Spheres tour.
However, as the camera panned to Claudia, fans were left in stitches when Claudia and Dave were ‘caught’ with their arms around each other, before realising everyone could see them and ducking out of view.
The joke was a nod to the infamous moment a couple were caught on a ‘kiss cam’ during a Coldplay gig in Massachusetts and quickly ducked out of view when they realised the entire stadium could see them. The clip, which has since gone viral, then saw Coldplay singer Chris Martin joking that the pair were having an affair.
After the clip was shared online it was revealed that it was Andy Byron, CEO of the tech company Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company's chief people officer who had been unwittingly caught together on camera while they were both married to other people.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the hilarious Claudia clip, with one stating: "Not Strictly recreating the Coldplay kiss cam moment! I need four to six business days to recover from this!"
Another added: "OMG that Coldplay gag is probably the best thing they’ve ever done comedy wise!"
A third agreed: "Claudia and Dave Arch recreating the Coldplay kiss cam scandal moment!!! Brilliant stuff by #Strictly."
A fourth viewer joked that Claudia deserved an award for her hilarious spoof moment, saying: "Give that best actress BAFTA to Claudia Winkleman NOW!"
Another fan commented how much the clip made their night: "That Coldplay cam was hilarious. Oh Strictly I really do love you”.
The joke not only went down a storm with viewers at home, but also seemed to be a good luck charm for George and Alexis, who went on to perform their Tango and earned themselves a respectable score of 30 from the judges.
The couple got 7s and 8s across the board and were told by Motsi that their performance was "fascinating and intense", while Anton told George that he loved his "quiet, calm confidence".
Even Craig seemed impressed and although there were a couple of errors in the middle of the dance, he said, "You would nail that next time, widen the frame because it was too Argentine for my liking, but you led well and you’re really impressing me."
However, Shirley was slightly harder to please. She told the pair their dance had "fantastic footwork but it got lost in the middle".
George and Alexis weren’t the only ones at the higher end of the leaderboard. Above them were Ellie and Vito with a score of 31 after they performed their Couples Choice dance to 'Golden' by HUNTR/X from Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters.
Amber and Nikita earned themselves a solid 33 with their Argentine Tango, and Lewis and Katya beat them by just one point with their Foxtrot to 'L-O-V-E' by Nat King Cole.
However, it was Alex Kingston who left the judges speechless after performing a Rumba to Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car'. Her dance with partner Johannes not only left Shirley in tears but also earned her a 10 – something that broke Strictly history as Claudia pointed out no one had ever been awarded a 10 for a Rumba in week 4 before.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
