The television and radio presenter is the 11th celebrity to join 2015's series, with the news being announced during tonight's The One Show.

Rani said: "So many elements of Strictly terrify me but I shall try and think #BeyonceAlwaysOnBeat as I hit the dance floor.
"I'm so excited to indulge that fantasy and hopefully learn some mean moves in the process. Let's get our groove on!"
Rani has presented on shows such as Watchdog, Countryfile and The One Show.

News of Rani's participation follows the announcement earlier today that former The Wanted member Jay McGuiness would be taking part in the series.
The pair join the previously announced Jeremy Vine, Ainsley Harriott, Kellie Bright, Georgia May Foote, Katie Derham, Carol Kirkwood, Peter Andre, Daniel O'Donnell and Anthony Ogogo.
More celebrities are due to be announced ahead of the Strictly launch show on Saturday, September 5.
