Alison Hammond may have revealed a little too much while chatting to Kate Garraway about her upcoming stint on The Great Celebrity Bake Off.

Former I’m A Celebrity star, Garraway, is set to appear in the upcoming celebrity edition of the culinary competition, battling it out against a collection of other famous faces in a bid to be crowned star baker.

Joining Garraway in the studio for Friday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, Hammond teased details about the upcoming Stand Up To Cancer specials.

However, Garraway was left stunned when Hammond joked about the result of her performance in the iconic Bake Off tent.

“Listen, can we talk about Bake Off? Because that was so much fun,” Garraway exclaimed, before warning: “Don’t give it away though.”

“What, that you lost?” Hammond swiftly replied, causing an eruption of laughter in the GMB studio.

Garraway looked embarrassed as she tried to hold back her laughter saying: “Or did I, Hammond?”

Reflecting on her Bake Off experience, the GMB star confessed: “Look, it was a bit messy but you’re not judged on that.”

“Do you know what? I think Paul Hollywood had a little soft spot for our Kate,” Hammond said, with Garraway replying: “And why not?”

“Sometimes I would see a hot mess and he was like ‘It’s amazing’,” Hammond continued. “I was like, ‘Are you seeing the same thing I’m seeing?’.

“She mesmerised him to the point where he didn’t know what he was doing. I was like ‘what has happed to Paul Hollywood?’. I think he’s fallen in love.”

“That happens a lot to me Alison,” the GMB host remarked. “I find if you just blind people with enough enthusiasm they lose any judgement.”

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer will return on Sunday, March 16 at 7.40pm on Channel 4.

The Great British Bake Off and its spin-off Bake Off: An Extra Slice both air on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
