Zara McDermott has confirmed she's returned to work in her first Instagram post of 2025.

The Love Island star turned documentary maker shared a photo of herself sitting at a desk with a film camera, captioning it: "First day back at work, doing what I love & am so grateful for. @bbcthree @bbciplayer."

Taking to her Instagram Story, the TV star revealed that she's working on her upcoming BBC documentary Stalked, which was announced in September.

The two-part series will follow Zara as she meets with people who are currently being impacted by stalkers, showcasing how it affects their everyday lives.

She will also spend time with the police to get a first-hand look at how reports of stalking are processed, and shine a light on why conviction rates remain so low.

The former Made in Chelsea star continued: "I really hope this is another series that can be shown in schools as part of an educational piece around toxic behaviours.

"This is a huge passion of mine. I wish there were more documentaries about violence against women when I was in school.

"I really believe that by educating young people while they're in their adolescence, we can start stamping out behaviour before they get into adulthood. I really hope this documentary makes a difference."

Zara's previous documentaries include Revenge Porn, Uncovering Rape Culture, Disordered Eating, Ibiza: Secrets of the Party Island, Gaia: A Death on Dancing Ledge and The Idaho Murders: Trial by TikTok.

Zara McDermott: Stalked will air on BBC Three and stream on iPlayer.
