Strictly Come Dancing star Chris McCausland has announced a new project, with the comedian unveiling his autobiography.
The star appeared in the 22nd season of the BBC show last year, partnering Dianne Buswell as they went on to lift the Glitterball Trophy after winning the public vote.
Following on from his success on the dancefloor, McCausland – with the collaboration of HD Management – announced his next venture, with the comedian set to release a memoir, provisionally titled Chris McCausland - My Story on October 9.

“I thought Strictly was terrifying, but my book has a release date and I haven’t started writing it yet,” said McCausland of the project (via Instagram). “Don’t worry, I’m going to start right now. It will be really funny, I promise.”
“Like the rest of the country, I’ve been both gripped and incredibly moved by Chris and Dianne’s dazzling progress through Strictly,” added Rowland White of Penguin Michael Joseph. “What had seemed scarcely possible quickly confounded all our preconceptions and expectations.

The post was received warmly by fans and followers in the comment section, with Buswell outlining her hopes for the project as she wrote: “I best get a special mention @chrismccauslandcomedy 😂”
