Married at First Sight Australia star Lucinda Light has revealed she sees babies on the horizon for a fellow MAFS couple.

The reality TV star appeared in the latest season of the Australian dating show, matched with TV groom Timothy. Whilst things didn't work out romantically for Lucinda and Timothy, three couples remain together post-show – Jack and Tori, Jade and Ridge and Jono and Ellie.

In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy to promote her upcoming UK tour, An Evening with Lucinda Light, the MAFS star revealed she was rooting for Jono and Ellie, believing they are together for the right reasons.

"I reckon they’ll have babies. They’re such a good fit," she said. "They want the same things. Their values are in the same place."

Ellie and Jono were partnered with different people in this year's experiment, with Ellie coupled up with groom Ben and Jono matched with bride Lauren.

Ellie and Ben were the second couple to quit the show, with Lauren and Jono making it to the Final Vows, before deciding not to continue their relationship.

During the show reunion, Jono and Ellie arrived together and confirmed they were now dating. They admitted to sending texts to one another during the show experiment but denied any wrongdoing.

"I think through the show they were a bit disheartened and both didn’t speak up enough for themselves, particularly Jono," said Lucinda, explaining her take on the reunion. "So it came to the end of the line, and all that frustration and bravado came out. It didn’t work, and I personally felt really sad for Lauren that night.

"They’re better than that, and I think it was just circumstances and they were just over it by that stage."

She added: "Unfortunately Jono got the wet rag edit, he is actually quite a rational, voice-of-reason guy. He was the sensible one in the show. He has just not come across as the guy we know and love. To me that was the roughest edit."

Lucinda admits that the couple have had a "rough time" since announcing their relationship at the reunion, with Ellie and Jono receiving death threats. Nevertheless, the two are working through it together and remain committed to their relationship.

"For me, they won. They won the show. They won each other," said Lucinda. "I believe it will be a very longevity relationship. They’re just gorgeous together."

As for her own MAFS experience, Lucinda will be telling all about her time on the show in one-woman show An Evening with Lucinda Light, set to tour various UK venues in August. The reality TV star will also be delving into her background as an expert in emotional intelligence.

An Evening with Lucinda Light will tour nationally from Monday 5 August. Tickets are now available via AXS.com.
