Married at First Sight UK star Leah Marie Tyrer has confirmed she's in a new relationship following her time on the show. The news comes after her dramatic separation from Leigh Harris, which occurred at the final commitment ceremony. The pair had a tumultuous journey on the E4 reality series, with their time in the experiment being marked by repeated arguments. Leigh accused Leah of having her gaze elsewhere, while Leah criticised her partner kissing co-star Leisha Lightbody.

The duo decided against pursuing their relationship outside of the experiment at the final vow ceremony, with the arguments continuing after each delivered a speech criticising aspects of the other's character.

Following the conclusion of the 10th season last week, Leah spoke with Nonchalant Magazine and revealed she's now in a new relationship with professional footballer Maz Pacheco, who plays for Everton.

"I'm dating a girl I've known for 13 years," she began. "We've always kind of kept in touch ad hoc on Instagram and stuff. We hooked up when I came out of the show properly and it's been really nice. It's somebody who gets me.

"She just wants to roll with it. She's fun. She's got her own thing going on as well so she's always busy with everything and she's really supported me throughout this whole journey, post-show being aired as well."

The reality star shared she had "found" herself during the course of the series.

"I didn’t lose a marriage," she began. "I found myself. A lot was missing but my self worth was not. I’d like to thank the version of me that stood her ground and never allowed herself to be persuaded her feelings didn’t matter."
