Married at First Sight UK star Bailey Smith has confirmed that the name he used during his his eventful stint on the show isn't his real name. Appearing on the 10th season of the E4 reality series, Bailey was coupled up with Rebecca "Bec" Fenney during the experiment. The pair made it all the way to the final vow ceremony where they agreed to stay together.

It was sadly confirmed earlier this month that the duo had separated following the conclusion of the season, and Bailey spoke to BBC Radio Sussex about his time in the experiment as well as revealing that his real name is actually David Bailey.

"The secret is out of the bag now," he quipped, before talking about his relationship with Bec. "I have loved every minute of it. But it's been tough. Going through heartbreak in the public eye has been quite difficult."

"It took me a while to take the ring off, [if] I am honest. I can't say too much because there's another reunion coming up at some point," added the star, who said that he was still "very much single" as he goes through a "bit of healing time".

Bec also shared a post on social media following their separation, writing: "To answer all the questions…. Yes, he fumbled." With a reunion special set to air next year, will more details be revealed?
