Married at First Sight UK stars Bailey Smith and Rebecca "Bec" Fenney have addressed their separation, which left fans devastated. As the curtain came down on their relationship, each party had very different messages.
The duo got together in the 10th season of E4's reality series, and had a strong bond throughout the experiment as they agreed to stay together when it came to the final commitment ceremony.
It was a different story when it came to the outside world, however, and the pair confirmed via their social media channels that they had broken up, with Bec simply writing on Instagram: "To answer all the questions…. Yes, he fumbled."
Bailey posted a much lengthier message in regards to the situation as he addressed some of the claims that had been made during their romance, beginning: "Unfortunately it’s time to share that Bec and I are no longer together… 😔
"We tried our best to navigate life after the experiment, and although we spent a lot of great time together on the outside, unfortunately the relationship came to an end. I still have a lot of love for Bec and I’m grateful for the amazing relationship we shared.

"I had fallen for Bec completely and it really was a true love story. I won’t lie, watching us fall in love all over again on screen has been ridiculously hard to go through and it’s something I’m still struggling with now. But I wouldn’t have changed any of it!
"Sadly I also have to address the various different false online allegations constantly being spread about me since the start of MAFS, which have been hard to deal with. I want to make it very clear, I never cheated on Bec at any point."
Bailey, a sales manager hailing from St Albans, apologised to Bec after admitting that he "didn't handle" the break-up in the best fashion, though he did reiterate that he was "completely loyal" throughout the relationship.
"I’m not perfect, I don’t claim to be and I take responsibility for my part in why the relationship didn’t work," he added. "Making the decision to end things was heartbreaking and not a decision that I took lightly… I wish Bec all the best and I always will❤️".
