Married at First Sight Australia fans were feeling teary as an emotional moment for Timothy Smith aired this week.
It all unfolded at the group's dinner party, with Timothy and partner Lucinda Light pretty much glowing after some quality time spent at the retreat together. Having received compliments from their cast mates, Timothy revealed how Lucinda had helped him break down his walls.
"I am loving the unravelling of this gorgeous creature, he is such a gorgeous man," she said.

Just as she'd made that loving comment, Timothy stunned the table by leaning in for a kiss.
"I literally wanted to jump the table and kiss them both... it was amazing!" joked Eden Harper, before Tristan Black pointed out: "That's a step, if anything that's a leap for those old dogs. I am so happy for them, what a comeback."
Reflecting on the surprise smooch, Lucinda admitted: "It shocked me a bit, but it was divine, utterly divine. Anything that comes from Tim feels really true at this point."
Despite the fluttery atmosphere, though, Timothy suddenly excused himself from the meal. Lucinda went looking for her groom and discovered him sobbing, with him revealing to her that he'd been wasting the experience by being closed off instead of looking for love.
"You've been holding so much in... I'm here for all this process," she replied.

Fresh from this heartbreaking exchange, MAFS Australia fans were quick to make their feelings known on social media.
"Timothy cries, I cry. Honestly, it breaks my heart to see him like this. He's been through so much," read one message.
