Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley faced a bit of a backlash yesterday (April 16) for some comments he made about Sir David Attenborough.
While interviewing Dr Gail Bradbrook – the co-founder of the activist group Extinction Rebellion, who are currently protesting in central London and calling on the government to do more to tackle climate change – Dr Bradbrook referred to Attenborough's warning that "the collapse of this civilisation could happen soon".
Madeley didn't hold back with his response. "He's not a saint, you know. He's just a broadcaster," the presenter replied, risking the wrath of every single TV fan at home.
As you can imagine, people were pretty annoyed – but none more so than Madeley's own sister.
The host revealed on today's GMB: "We sort of had a vigorous debate about it yesterday. Typically you get hammered on Twitter as people tell you what they think.
"My main beating up was from my big sister! She was on the phone after the show."

It's not the first time recently that Madeley has found himself in a spot of bother. A couple of days ago, the host swore live on TV no less than five minutes into the show.
And last week, he sent Twitter into a frenzy about the strikingly orange hue of his tan. Luckily, he could see it for himself, describing his look as reminiscent of a "pumpkin."
As Richard Arnold joked on Monday's show: "If all I had to do was pepper the show with expletives and put fake tan on to get the amount of coverage you've got, Dickie, I'd have started it years ago!"
Add slagging off Sir David Attenborough to that list, and you've got yourself a formidable formula. Piers Morgan who?
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays from 6am on ITV.
