The BBC had another star signing for their CBeebies Bedtime Story last night (June 18), the returning Captain America himself, Chris Evans!

Evans read the story Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site, written by Sherri Duskey Rinker and illustrated by Tom Lichtenheld.

The story, as you might have guessed, is about a group of trucks getting ready for bed after a hard day's work. Let's have a watch:

As is tradition when the people at CBeebies book a hunky male star, the parents seemed to enjoy the bedtime story more than the kids.

Why is this? Well, if we had to put money on it, we'd say it's probably less down to the rhymes and colourful imagery than it is to the dulcet tones of our favourite actors, and people imagining the fantasy of Chris Evans or Tom Hardy being their other half.
