Despite coming to an end earlier this week, Love Island is still making headlines – and now fans will be thrilled to hear that the series is not entirely over...

Yep, a final instalment of the reality TV show is incoming, as Caroline Flack will host a special episode of After Sun called Love Island: The Reunion, airing on Sunday (July 30).

It comes after last year's islanders reunited on a Love Island: Heading Home special, so it's only fair that this year's contestants get some more airtime on The Reunion.

The special episode was announced by Caroline Flack on the most recent instalment of After Sun, where she confirmed that the entire cast of this year's series will be joining her.

Meanwhile, the finalists have finally arrived back in the UK – greeted by their friends, family and fans. (And some fun 'welcome home' banners.)

After seven weeks in the villa, Kem, Amber, Marcel, Gabby, Chris, Olivia, Jamie and Camilla flew out from Palma de Mallorca airport in Spain and landed at Stansted Airport on July 25.

It's little surprise that fans were excited about the surviving couples' homecoming, what with the ITV2 reality show beating BBC One, BBC Two, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in the ratings on Monday.

This week's finale – which saw Kem and Amber crowned the winners of Love Island 2017 – drew almost 3 million viewers in the 9pm slot, according to overnight data.

Love Island: The Reunion will air on Sunday, July 30 at 9pm on ITV2.
