The Responder star Christine Tremarco and Sherwood actor Jorden Myrie are among the new cast members announced for the upcoming BBC drama, Hamburg Days, which is based on global music icons The Beatles.
Tremarco has been cast in the role of John Lennon's guardian Aunt Mimi, while Myrie is set to play Lord Woodbine.
According to the BBC, Asa Butterfield (Sex Education) has also joined the "prestige" six-part series as Beatles manager Brian Epstein, alongside The Crown star Jonny Lee Miller who will play Paul McCartney's father Jim McCartney.

Inspired by German artist Klaus Voormann's autobiography about The Beatles' formative years called It Started in Hamburg, the drama will track the band's rise to fame. The synopsis says: "Hamburg Days is set in the early 1960s in the smoke-filled clubs of Hamburg's St. Pauli red-light district, where an inexperienced young rock 'n' roll band from Liverpool collides with two young artists, Klaus Voormann and Astrid Kirchherr.
"Together they help spark a transformation that turns a scrappy group of teenagers into the greatest music phenomenon the world has ever known: The Beatles."

Rhys Mannion, Ellis Murphy, Harvey Brett, Louis Landau and Patrick Gilmore, were previously announced as the titular band members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stu Sutcliffe (the band's original bass guitarist), and Pete Best (the original drummer) respectively. The role of Ringo Starr has now been filled by Stranger Things: The First Shadow actor Louis McCartney.

The rest of the cast will be rounded out by other newcomers which include A Thousand Blows and This City is Ours Darci Shaw who will play Cynthia Lennon, Ryan Sampson as Liverpool promoter Alan Williams, Archie George as singer Tony Sheridan, Lea Drinda as Astrid Kirchherr and Tash Major as Dot Rhone. They join the previously announced Klaus Voormann's Casper von Bülow.
The BBC series has been created by showrunner Christian Schwochow, while Jamie Carragher and Frank Lamm serve as head writer and director of photography respectively. Klaus Voormann is also an exclusive consultant to the series which is currently filming in Hamburg.
Hamburg Days will air on BBC.
