Katie Price has hit back at "disgusting" claims that the disappearance of her husband Lee Andrews is a "publicity stunt".

As the search for missing Mr Andrews continues, Price, 47, has now shared a new video where she slammed speculation that the mystery saga was a stunt, telling viewers: "I want to make it clear again everyone: This is not a publicity stunt. This is real, and anyone who thinks that I'm part of this is disgusting."

She added: "I'm really upset and distressed that everyone thinks that I'm in on this. Are you guys actually joking? Come on, give me some credit. Why would I do that?"

Earlier in the clip, the reality star said that none of Andrews' family had heard anything from him, including his father, who is in Dubai.

"We have reported him to the British embassy as a missing person," she said. "He's been reported in Dubai as a missing person. I just don't know what to say."

Price added that her "anxiety levels are sky high" amid the ordeal, before recalling of her last contact with him: "The last thing I know, his hands were tied, he had a hood over his head, not fully over, and he was in the back of a van. And that's all I know.

"The police can't find him anywhere where he's been detained. No phone calls have been made. So, I don't know where he is."

The Foreign Office confirmed today it is supporting the family of a British man in Dubai after Andrews’ family had filed a missing persons report at the British Embassy in Dubai.

A Foreign Office spokesperson said: "We are supporting the family of a British man and are in contact with the local authorities."

Last week, the former glamour model revealed that she had not heard from Andrews – whom she married earlier this year – for days.

Andrews, who lives in the UAE, failed to turn up to their joint Good Morning Britain interview in the UK last Monday, claiming he had “things to do” but was on his way.

The star uploaded a YouTube video at the time, saying in the caption that he had been "detained in a van by the Oman border near Hatta".

Price said she'd received a worrying FaceTime call from him where he claimed he had been "captured" or "arrested" with ties around his hand.

"He said, 'Look, they're coming back for me. They're coming back for me.' That is the last FaceTime call I had with him. And then his phone went dead at 10:03," she said.

In a subsequent Instagram clip shared by Price and The Sun's Clemmie Moodie yesterday, alleged texts between her and Andrews saw him write that he had been "arrested" and taken to a "black site".

In another twist in the mystery, former Apprentice star Luisa Zissman revealed she was in Dubai in search of Andrews and posted videos of herself in the streets.

She further claimed that Andrews had been seen online on Facebook Messenger yesterday.

Zissman added on her Instagram Stories that she was on the verge of giving up, telling her followers: "I’m back in Dubai airport. This is the last known place that Lee Andrews was publicly seen so I’m going to strut around here and look for him and hope I find him, because if I don’t, I am going to fly home today and admit defeat."
