One Night, the "evocative" mystery drama starring Jodie Whittaker, has landed a new streaming home in the UK.
The Australian series sees the former Doctor Who star portray Tess, a figure who lived through a traumatic tragedy alongside Simone and Nat in her younger years. The trio reunite in later years, with their lives being entwined by their shared pasts.
Unbeknownst to Tess and Nat, Simone has written a novel about her experience, with the book proving to be a success. As Tess and Nat learn of the developments, the trio's bond is threatened.
Originally released on Paramount+ in 2023, One Night was subsequently removed from the streamer in February 2024, but the six-part drama will soon have a new home in the UK as it airs on ITV1 and ITVX in August.
Co-starring Nicole Da Silva and Yael Stone, the mystery drama received a generally positive response from critics, with the series currently having an approval rating of 67% on Rotten Tomatoes from six reviews.

"Amazing talent. Don't think I have ever seen so many talented people in one series. Bravo to everyone. Writers, producers, actors, makeup, designers, I hope there will be more of this series," wrote one other user, while another called it "brilliant" and "evocative".

Whittaker previously spoke with Digital Spy about what drew her to the role of Tess, explaining: "The thing about Tess that's so fascinating to me [and what] was the biggest challenge to play, was that, unlike a lot of the characters I play, she internalises [her pain].
"The armour has been built up for 20 years. The protective barrier is there. There's a certain amount of coldness to the people closest to her as well. As someone completely polar opposite to that, I found that stillness within Tess fascinating to play."
One Night will air on ITV1 and ITVX in August.
